NanoPulse and Universidad Autónoma de Baja California Establish Workforce Development and R&D Partnership
NanoPulse is proud to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding with Universidad Autónoma de Baja California (UABC) on December 16. This agreement formalizes a shared commitment to advancing workforce development, technical education, and collaborative research to support the expansion of Mexico’s semiconductor and advanced manufacturing capabilities.
Under the MOU, NanoPulse and UABC will collaborate on curriculum development, technical training programs, and applied research initiatives aligned with industry demand. The partnership is designed to create clear pathways for student training, internships, and future employment, while enabling UABC faculty and researchers to engage directly with real-world semiconductor challenges across packaging, design, testing, and manufacturing disciplines.
As a leading public university, UABC plays a critical role in scaling talent development across the region. This collaboration supports NanoPulse’s mission to build a robust, North America–focused semiconductor ecosystem by combining Mexico’s engineering talent, geographic proximity to the United States, competitive cost structure, and tariff-free USMCA access into a sustainable platform for long-term industrial growth.
