NanoPulse and CETYS Universidad Sign Strategic Workforce Development and R&D Partnership
NanoPulse is pleased to announce the execution of a Memorandum of Understanding with CETYS Universidad, signed on December 17. This agreement establishes a framework for collaboration focused on workforce development, specialized technical training, and applied research in advanced semiconductor packaging and design, reinforcing CETYS’s role as a key academic partner in Baja California’s growing semiconductor ecosystem.
Through this collaboration, NanoPulse and CETYS intend to align academic programs with industry needs by modernizing curricula, developing hands-on training initiatives, and supporting research in areas such as semiconductor packaging, testing, reliability, materials, and manufacturing engineering. The partnership also contemplates internships, industrial training, and long-term talent pipelines connecting CETYS students and faculty directly with NanoPulse’s operations.
This agreement reflects NanoPulse’s broader strategy to help position Mexico as a cornerstone of North American semiconductor supply-chain resilience. By leveraging CETYS’s academic strength and NanoPulse’s industrial platform, the partnership aims to develop highly skilled talent, reduce reliance on Asia, and support the growth of advanced packaging capabilities in a tariff-free, USMCA-aligned environment.
